I don’t know about you guys but I feel like I’ve been in the house for 1035days. Initially, I kept count of the days but now every day is just day whatever of quarantine. What makes it worse is the fact that we don’t know when all this is going to be over, but we shall overcome✊🏼.
Here’s a list of movies and series you should watch as you try to stay safe and sane indoors.
1. LA CASA DE PAPEL SN4
It is finally out people and I am feeling all kinds of mathwiti and makeki🥳. It has been a long wait with lots of speculation on who died, who’s back and whatever. Fans were really hoping that the release of Money Heist would not be pushed to a later date due to Rona issues and well, our prayers were heard, peeps. The fourth season just dropped today and fans can now binge-watch on Netflix. For those of us who have to wait for like a week hadi ifike kwa msee wa movie na 30bob, it’s all good🤣. We will endure your constant posts on how dope the movie is but please, please msituharibie si fair🥺
2. YOU SN2
You, yes you should be embarrassed if you don’t know Joe🤦🏼♀️. Seriously…Joe the stalker who will love the hell out of you. If you don’t know the guy here’s a brief intro, Joe is a charming, brilliant guy who manages a bookstore and who would do anything for love. When he loves you he will remove every obstacle that will keep you apart. The series is thrilling and will have you glued to your screens. If you haven’t seen the series you should watch it, the series will leave you with so many questions…Are there boundaries when it comes to love? Are some wrongs justified? For those who’ve watched the season one, would you mind that kinda love? Let’s talk in the comment section🤗
Waah, this is one of the movies that you’ll watch and feel so empowered to want to take on the world. Had me like mnishikilie ama nitafute briefcase nianze biashara😂. It is important to note that this is Apple’s first original movie! This movie will have your attention until the two hours are over which can be mainly attributed to the powerful acting done by the actors. The movie is based on the story of two black entrepreneurs who hire a white man to pose as the head of their company while they posed as a janitor and a chauffeur and ran the business in the 1950s. Another upside is that the movie is for general viewing, you guys could watch it over supper maybe?
4. SOMEONE GREAT
I cried like a baby when watching this not once actually, more like 10 times. If you are the type that likes Romcoms then this is a movie that you should watch like ASAP!! It’s a story about love, the kind that sticks to your ribs that you can’t just give up, as it is a story on loss. The story follows through a girl who breaks up with her long term boyfriend after landing her dream job. She seeks to have one more adventure with her friends before moving to another city. The flick goes on to show that true love lies in friendships. You should definitely watch this one😁
5. MURDER MYSTERY
I am a huge fan of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, both are individually funny and become funnier together with believable chemistry. The two, star in the movie as a New York cop and his wife who go on a European vacation to try and rekindle their marriage. A chance encounter then leads to them being framed for the murder of an elderly billionaire. The middle-class couple now has to solve the murder mystery to prove their innocence to the French police. Be ready for a lot of twists and turns and an exceptional performance by the two lead actors. Certainly worth a watch!
Talk of twists and turns, this drama series will keep you guessing what is going on all through. Ozark is about a family who moves to Missouri after a money-laundering deal went wrong and they have to pay back the Mexican cartel. They then have to continue laundering money to ensure they’ve paid the cartels.
That’s it for this weeks movie recommendations, be sure to check them out and leave a comment on which one you enjoyed the most. Stay indoors, pop some popcorns and enjoy after all you’ve got nothing to lose.
