How it went down at the Instagram Party
The first Instagram Party happened last year at Club 411, and it was lit! In fact, it was one of the best events in 2016. So, when we heard the IG party is happening once more, this time at Club Timba; the most hyped club in the valley, you already know Eldoret Leo had to be there.
So, it’s around midnight, and I just checked into the club. At the entrance are Twinflix, the official photographers for the night and a huge Instagram photo frame prop that just sets the tone for the event.
Inside, the club is jam-packed. Every celeb in Eldoret and Whatsapp admins (better put some respect on these guys) are turning up. Hits Republic finest DJ Tibz backed by Mc Nick got the club going wild. The music is banging, the bottles are pop’n, and it’s all good vibes only.

Saturday Club Hoping
Saturday 6 PM I meet up with Baba Hakeem in town. We hurriedly make our way to 64 Resort & Sporting Club. If you’ve never been, this place simply is the best chill out spot in Eldoret where you can have precious moments together with your friends and family. Plus, they are setting up an exclusive shisha lounge. Check it out sometime.
Later we head back to town and check into Inferno. If you are going to club hop, start at such a place. Inferno is in between Club Signature and Spree. They also serve drinks at much cheaper rates. Makes sense for an all-nighter.
10 PM we drop into Spree and have a shocker! There is no one at the club apart from the staff. Quite sad really. Signature, on the other hand, holds down a party as usual. Revelers are checking in numbers, so you know it’s going to be a turn-up. (Sadly, we didn’t have any photos from these clubs)
Finally, we hit Club Timba late in the night. From the looks of it, the whole town is partying here. There are no parking spaces, and the club is filled in and out.
There’s obviously nowhere to sit, so we immediately soak in the high energy and start going round the club taking photos and meeting people. An hour later we are set up at the bar and so “we settle in” and enjoy the rest of the night.
