All Safaricom customers that will happen to experience a dropped call will be compensated by being given a minute worth of airtime on their phone. This service could be a misused and therefore Safaricom has capped the number of times you can access the service to a maximum of five times a day.
My Data Manager
Initially when you ran out of data, the network would automatically switch to airtime usage, not anymore. My Data Manager allows the customer control data usage on their phone whereby they can choose to have their internet eat into their airtime or the session to end until they purchase more data bundles. You can access My Data Manager by dialing *100# for the PrePay and *200# for the post pay customers.
