We made it! Happy New Year 2018 from the entireĀ Eldoret Leo team!
As the sun set in 2017, Eldoret residents took to the streets, churches and entertainment joints to ring in the new year. From breathtaking fireworks display, prayers, food and drink, here’s how Eldoret ushered in the new year 2018.
Pamoja Concert, Eldoret Sports Club
Crowds swamped Eldoret Sports Club with thousands more watching from their television sets as top Gospel artists, media personalities, politicians and joyous Eldoretians convened to celebrate the crossover toĀ the new year. Bonfire and Fireworks, 64 Resort & Sporting Club
The New Year’s Eve celebration swept across to 64 Resort & Sporting Club where hundreds of revelers were treated to all night bangers, good food, and drink, bonfire and fireworks. Here’s a video to give you a sense of how lit the party was (Courtesy – IG deejay_pinto_kenya)
Threesome Party, Club Tilja
Back to the CBD, the situation was no different! Club Tilja, the new entrant to Eldoret’s entertainment scene, played host to the threesome party featuring Dj Sule, Dj Vortex, and Mc Nosh. Who was at the party? Browse through the photos below (Courtesy – DJ Sule):
Choma Fest, The Eclipse Tavern
On the other side of town, The Eclipse Tavern was making a comeback to the scene after closing down for refurbishment, and they couldn’t choose a better date for re-opening. The club joint at Eldoret-Nakuru highway, next to Stabex Petrol station hosted aĀ choma fest party courtesy of DJ Gee Kenya and DJ Spur. Here’sĀ how it went down (Courtesy DJ Gee):
Splash Pool Party, Starbucks Hotel
At Starbucks hotels, a different kind of party was going down. Organized by Genius Minds and hosted by the hotel, Splash pool party provided an alternative crossover hangout event for the good vibes and chilledĀ kindĀ of squad. The set up looked amazing! CheckĀ it out Courtesy – IG @eldoretlords):
