World over, Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June, a practice that dates back to 1910. This holiday was founded by Sonora Smart Dodd as a day of honoring fatherhood and celebrating paternal bonds. This year the holiday falls on the 19th of June, though not recognized as a National holiday in Kenya it is celebrated.
Acknowledging the importance of fathers in our society, Rupa’s Mall will be running a promotion dubbed My Dad My Shujaa where 5 fathers will win gift vouchers worth 4000 shillings, in addition, every winner will be given two cinemas tickets and a photo session at Kim’s Photography studios.
