Our #MCM is the classic definition of determination and hard work. Noah Maganda, a work out enthusiast has began living his lifelong dream of fitness and inspiring people through it. Just two years ago he was an ordinary Joe, now he is a 6-foot 1 behemoth of muscle all credit to his hard work, consistency and determination. Noah just participated in his first Mr. Kenya Competition where he came out 6th which wasn’t an easy fit.
Noah has also founded a free for all fitness track team, dubbed TEAM FITNESS. All you need to do is join their WhatsApp group and find out when and where the next workout routine is going to take place. Mostly the Team meets in Kapsoya where Noah resides.
This is for all those people who would like to work out but lack the funds for gym membership, motivation or even a team to work with, we have a team that trains in the morning and on Saturdays afternoon, Join the WhatsApp group and find out how you can participate. Here is our Interview With Noah…
Joanne: Tell me a little bit about yourself.
Noah: I am a fitness enthusiast, Media Consultant by profession working fulltime with a leading Media Company. Am also a member of TeamFitness- a fitness group that we formed with my fellow Gym mates and we go for afternoon jogs and Cardio every Saturday afternoon, anyone is free to join
Joanne: Why do you do what you do?
Noah: Fitness and working out for me started as just a hobby to pass time! Soon it became more of a passion and part of me, the changes from it made me a new person ,apart from getting a nice physique I also gained more confidence and my self esteem increased, and last but not least am more healthy and fit.
Joanne: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Noah: Having participated in one Major competition- Mr.Nairobi, my biggest ambition is to go International ,I would really love to compete in bigger events like the Arnold Classic and Mr.Olympia
Joanne: What is your day like, say a weekend?
Noah: Since all through the week am on my full time job then hit the gym in the evening, weekends are the only time I get to rest, I either watch movies or do PlayStation,my favorite game being Urban Reign, that’s the time I also get to hangout with my friends.
Joanne: Do you have an embarrassing moment, What was it?
Noah: Embarrassing moment? Yeah, I once stepped on dog waste on my way to work and didn’t realise it, all was well till I got to the office! Everyone was wondering why I smelt so bad! I was so embarrassed.
Joanne: What is the one thing that most people don’t know about you?
Noah: Am totally scared of Lifts/ Elevators, I get some funny feeling anytime I use them
Joanne: If you ruled the world for a day. What would you do?
Noah: There are lots of things I would do, a day won’t be enough, but the for a day I would just sit back at my throne and act like Pharaoh!
Joanne: Which Zodiac sign are you, what do you find most interesting about this Sign.
Noah: I am Capricorn, Its always a lucky star.
Joanne: iPhone or Samsung?
Noah: iPhone anytime!!
Joanne: What is your guilty pleasure?
Noah: Guilty pleasure!!….overfeeding!! Haha
Joanne: Give me three qualities of the ideal woman for you.
Noah: My ideal woman should be Honest ,an Extrovert ,a good cook, hardworking and God fearing.
Joanne: What do you like most about Eldoret Town.
Noah: What I like most about Eldoret is it’s economic status! This is the only town you can comfortably survive with minimal cash for long periods..basic needs are readily available! Not to forget this is the home of champions.
Joanne: Before you Hit 40 years, what is that one thing you’d like to Learn or do, the 1 person you’d like to meet, and the one place you’d like to visit.
Noah: Before I hit 40 I would love to learn how to fly a plane, I would love to meet Dwayne Johnson aka the Rock and I would love to visit the Amazon in Brazil.
Joanne: What are your parting shots.
Noah: Parting shot- In whatever you do ,do it to your best and don’t try to be someone else! If you try to be someone else you loose focus of who you really are and you will fail.
