Live Music At Club Timba
Yes, you heard that right, Club Timba plays live music every Thursday night. It might seem unbecoming of a night club to play live music, but there’s a growing demand for it even among revelers.
The band that plays at Timba goes by the name Tamasha. The first time I got to witness the band in action was about three months ago. A couple of friends from Nairobi had just landed in town. Eager to prove to them the Eldoret nightlife was just as fire as Nairobi’s, I suggested we head out to timba.
I was a little disappointed at first, to be honest. You see, I had brought these people to turn up and all I could think of was how they thought we were such losers. But alas, Tamasha outdid themselves. And after just an hour in, everyone seated at our table and in the entire club was up dancing.
I don’t know if you guys realize how hard it is to get people in a club to turn up to live music! It’s so hard to get a Kenyan band that moves the crowd as they do. I mean they get you dancing and grinding and vibing!!! You don’t know what you are missing if you’ve never been.
Tamasha band plays all genres of music from local club bangers to reggae, RnB, EDMs, house, country and what have you.
You can rest assured you’ll have a good time at Club Timba Live Music session with Tamasha band.
Other places that play live music in Eldoret include Noble and Boma Inn. Catch the famous Jamnazi band every Friday from 8:00 p.m at Noble and Goodmusic Duo at Boma every Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.
Club signature also has live music featuring Jamnazi two Thursday’s a month.
Listening to live music is one of the best forms of music engagement. Furthermore, it has tonnes of benefits, including boosting your mental health and stress relief.
If you had a long day at work or school or want to just chill and have a good time, stop by any of the joints mentioned above during the specified days. Live music might be the smallest of the three music segments, but it is growing at a fast-paced rate.
