Coming back for the 5th time in a row, Kitenge Fashion Festival and Awards Gala is set to happen on 30th April at Rupa’s Mall Grounds. And from the looks of it, this year’s event will be the best one yet. For the unaware, Kitenge Fashion Fest is a fashion gala come runway show and award ceremony. Not just any fashion gala. The grandest in The Rift. People wait with baited breath for each year’s edition. It usually starts with a kitenge market where different vendors exhibit their products and services. Then you have performances, designer showcases, and the award ceremony for Eldoret’s most celebrated personalities in the fashion and beauty industry.
What To Expect At Kitenge Fashion Fest This Year
For this year’s edition, Hart the Band will be performing live🥳🤸♀️🥳. I’m not even gonna lie, that will be the peak of my night. There will also be performances by Kenaj, Tstar, Almond Shaha, and Nairobi Girls Chorale. Handling your music will be some of the best DJs Etown has to offer; DJ VORTEX, M the Deejay, DJ Jmore, and Deejay Pinto. Running the show, keeping you entertained will be the honorable dutu of Oga Obinna, MC Kiptabut, and MC Mbayagi.
