Grand Opening

Rupa’s Mall has welcomed its first tenant, The Java House Restaurant.  Java House Restaurant chain has opened an outlet in Eldoret on Rupa’s Mall along Eldoret Nakuru highway; this comes barely a month after opening the Kericho Branch. The Eldoret branch becomes the 61st outlet in the chain’s growth plan.

Java has been on an expansion quest from 2015, which has seen it double the number of outlets in two years. This expansion has seen towns such as Nakuru, Naivasha, Eldoret and Kericho enjoy the quality food and service that Java provides – a dining experience that could only be felt in Nairobi.

Java’s Eldoret branch was commissioned by the MP for Ainabkoi Constituency, William Chepkut. The MP sent a message of encouragement to more investors who wish to invest in Uasin Gishu county and in particular Ainabkoi Constituency to do so. The MP said that he would support them in any way he can. He also thanked the owners of Rupa’s Mall for making such a huge investment in Uasin Gishu county as it will create employment for many youth in the region.

“We want to bring the Java love, the consistency the quality closer to the people all around the country especially during this time of political uncertainty,” said Java House chief executive Ken Kuguru.

Rupa’s Mall is set to launch officially in a few months’ time. The construction has been held back majorly because of the unpredictable weather patterns in Eldoret.

Alongside Java, some of the businesses that have already leased space at the mall are; Zaika Lounge, The Well Irish Pub, KFC, Chandarana and many others.
