Easter Special: Movies Of the Week

It is yet again another Easter holiday, and as we reflect on the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we might as well spice the mood with movies that match the theme of the season. On my Movie list, I have Four fantastic movies that will do just that and much more for you…

Risen

From the Death and Resurrection story in the Bible, this movie is about a Roman military tribune Clavius, who remains set in his ways after serving 25 years in the army. He arrives at a crossroad when he’s tasked to investigate the mystery of what happened to Jesus following the Crucifixion. Accompanied by trusted aide Lucius, his quest to disprove rumors of a risen Messiah makes him question his beliefs and spirituality. As his journey takes him to places never dreamed of, Clavius discovers the truth that he’s been seeking.
