Eldoret Leo The Champions Speak If you follow the works of Allan Nyima aka Pixel Pedlar you know he is one photographer deserving accolades. We are happy to announce that Nikon Kenya and ISL (Imaging Solutions Limited) feel the same way too. Allan Nyima has been selected as one of the finalists in the Heart of Kenya Photo Competition!
The Pixel Pedlar made it to our list of Eldoret-based photographers to watch out for in 2017

When asked what inspired him to take this photo, Allan said “What are the odds of a white kid getting lost in the jungle and being raised by apes? Thus, the conclusion… TARZAN IS BLACK”
Here are some of the other Images Competing for the 1st Prize win and the bragging rights. The winner gets to walk away with $1000 worth of Nikon voucher. Position 2 gets to walk away with $750 worth of Nikon voucher and the third position will get – $500 worth of Nikon voucher.

As the year began we listed a number of Eldoret-based photographers to watch out for this year. Alan Nyima becomes the third photographer after Star Chase and Benard Omwaka to gain country wide recognition from the list. We hope and pray that he wins.
